The BIO-PSA screening test is a test performed by the semiquantitative lateral fluid immunochromatography method. Its use is intended to facilitate the measurement of prostate-specific antigen (t-PSA) in (whole) blood or human serum. The cut-off point in the measurement is 10 ng/ml, with an analytical sensitivity of 4 ng/ml. This assay is provided for monitoring patients with progressive prostate diseases and for detecting recurrences or residual diseases in patients.

Test time and temperature
Interpretation of Bio-Prost results
1. For In Vitro diagnostic use.
2. Do not pipette the material with your mouth, do not eat, smoke or drink near the work area.
3. It is necessary to take precautions when handling the serum, wearing appropriate clothing, disposable sample collector gloves, and washing your hands after using the sample.
4. Use appropriate single-function disposable tips and use only one sample each.
5. All material must be deactivated with sodium hypochlorite (0.5%) 70% alcohol and disinfectant.
6. Do not use the product if it is expired.
7. Avoid all contact between hands and eyes and nose during test handling.
8. Do not mix components from different lots.
