Occult Blood in Feces (Bio-Sof) rapid test is an immunochemistry device intended for the qualitative detection of occult blood in feces by laboratories or doctors' offices. It is useful in determining gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding found in a number of gastrointestinal disorders, such as: diverticulitis, colitis, polyps, and colorectal cancer. This test is recommended for use in:

1) Routine physical examinations or when hospital patients are in the emergency room.

2) Hospital follow-up for gastrointestinal bleeding in patients.

3) Detection of colorectal cancer or gastrointestinal bleeding.

Interpretation of Bio-SOF results

1.This kit is for in-vitro diagnostic use only.

2.Do not use expired kit components.

3.Treat all samples and used test materials as if they were infectious.

4.Dispose of all used test components in a sanitary waste container, per clinical laboratory procedures.
