Rapid test for the qualitative detection of Cardiac Troponin I in human blood and serum | 4001303 BIO-Cardiac Troponin I
BIO-Cardiac Troponin I is a one-step immunochromatographic test for In Vitro use. It is designed for the qualitative determination of Cardiac Troponin I in human serum samples as an aid for the diagnosis of Myocardial Infarction. As with Troponin T (TnT) and Troponin I (TnC), Troponin I TnI forms a complex in the heart to play a fundamental role in the transmission of intracellular calcium signals through the actin-myosin interaction. Human Troponin cTnI has additional amino acid residues in its N terminus that do not exist in the human skeleton and therefore becomes an ideal indicator as a marker for Infarctions. Troponin I is present at very low levels in healthy people. Therefore, cTnI is a specific marker for the diagnosis of Myocardial Infarction.

Interpretation of Bio-Troponin I results
1. For in vitro diagnostic use only.
2. CAUTION: All human blood products, including serum samples, should be considered potentially highly infectious. It is recommended that reagents and patient samples be treated in accordance with the OSHA Blood Pathogens Standard or other appropriate national biosafety standards or regulations.
3. Do not use the kit after the expiration date indicated on the product.
4. The device must remain sealed until use.
5. Wear disposable gloves when handling samples and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards.
6. Use separate, clean tips for different samples.
7. Handle all patient samples as if they were potentially capable of transmitting disease.
8. Do not pipette samples or reagents by mouth.
9. To disinfect, use autoclave or sodium hypochlorite under traditional rules of use.
