Air shipments are the most efficient if you need your cargo or documents to arrive quickly and securely. Olympic Games of Tokyo 2020 (which due to COVID-19 will now take place in 2021) remain in doubt, since although they are confirmed from July 23 to August 8, a new warning signal was given this Monday, May 25 by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

This is because they placed Japan at level 4 of their travel scale (which represents the highest risk of territories with high contagion), so they advised against going to the Japanese country.

The State Department said the pandemic continues to pose “unprecedented risks” to travelers: “In light of those risks, the State Department strongly recommends U.S. citizens reconsider all foreign travel.”

However, this May 25, after learning of the new travel advisory, the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee said: “We are confident that the current mitigation practices in place for athletes and staff by both the "USOPC and the Tokyo Organizing Committee, along with testing before travel, upon arrival in Japan, and during the games, will allow for safe participation of Team USA athletes this summer."

In Japan, despite the high contagion numbers, they assure that the Olympic Games. OO. from Tokyo are not taking risks.

Mark Adams, spokesman for the International Olympic Committee (IOC), commented: “There has been a small extension of the emergency situation [in Japan], but we are still planning for a full games. “That's the way it has to be, and that's the only way it can be for us.”

Japan recorded 4,590 new cases of COVID-19 and 76 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the most recent data from the World Health Organization.

“The Olympics must be stopped,” said Akira Takasu, emergency chief at Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University Hospital… “This may be a trigger for another disaster this summer.”
