People over 60 years of age can now register to get vaccinated at this link

» ProSalud

Adults over 60 years of age will be able to register starting this Tuesday to receive the Covid-19 vaccine through the website https://mivacuna.salud.gob.mx, in which personal data will be required such as your Unique Population Registration Code (CURP), the address of the place where you currently live and a contact telephone number.

For now, the registry will only accept data from people over 60 years of age, so if a CURP is entered for a person under that age they will be informed that the vaccine does not apply to their age group.

Through this site, which will be promoted on all government pages, a directory of people will be created that will reach the Nation's Servants who make up the vaccination brigades.

This Tuesday, the federal government reported that the process to approve the emergency use of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine could be finalized in the next few hours, of which 400 doses will arrive this month.

Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Health, in February the arrival of 1 million doses of the Chinese CanSino vaccine is expected, while the AstraZeneca vaccines are expected to arrive at least 2.5 million doses from the mechanism of Covax and the new agreement to import them from India.

Regarding the application of vaccines, the Undersecretary of Health, Hugo López-Gatell, stated that people who register will not be able to choose the vaccine that is applied, but rather it will be the one corresponding to the logistics to bring the biological to the territory. .
