    INTRODUCTION
On March 11, 2020, it was declared by the World Health Organization,
as a public health emergency of international concern, the emergence and
spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19), already considered a pandemic, therefore
that governments around the world implemented urgent measures of varying
nature to counteract the contagion of said virus.
Given this declaration, the Head of Government of Mexico City carried out various
publications through the Official Gazette of Mexico City, in which
issued those provisions necessary to prevent the risk of contagion, such as
were the suspension of work and restriction of public activities, reduction of
administrative activities to the essential minimum, among others.
The General Health Council agreed on May 12, 2020, in its
third meeting of the Permanent Session, measures to continue mitigating the epidemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, after the National Healthy Distance Day; Their implementation would correspond to the Ministry of Health of the Federal Government.
  5. With publications of May 14 and 15 of the current year, in the Official Gazette of the
Federation, the Ministry of Health announced the Agreement that establishes a strategy to resume social, educational and economic activities, as well as a traffic light system by region to evaluate the risk weekly.
epidemiological related to the continuation of activities in each entity
federation, as well as extraordinary actions are established; From this agreement
began the process of gradual, orderly and cautious opening, divided into three stages. This same agreement orders the development of health security guidelines in the
    work environment.
Derived from the above, the Government of Mexico City, in accordance with what
stipulated by the health authorities of the federal government, has developed different instruments in coordination with different entities in both the public and private sectors, to strengthen all those actions that help maintain control and prevent the risk of contagion during the resumption of activities.
For this reason, on May 20 of the current year, the Head of Government of the City of
Mexico presented the Gradual Plan towards the New Normality in Mexico City that establishes the strategies that will be implemented to resume activities
labor, social, educational, cultural and economic in Mexico City, which must be progressive and adhere to minimum safety standards
against risk of contagion. For this, a traffic light system and a Committee were contemplated.
of Monitoring towards the New Normality of Mexico City, which allows evaluating the
epidemiological risk related to said resumption of activities, which is
is empowered to establish additional extraordinary actions to those already
    established.
In this stage of activation of the economy in Mexico City, it is necessary
keep this coordination in force, but mainly, have the participation of
citizenship at this time of transition. Because the existing health measures
would be harmless, as long as the population exceeds the minimum safety levels
    3
health in their different work environments and social coexistence. Through the
This document proposes those guidelines that should be considered by
employers, as well as members of senior management and operational positions, with the
purpose of appropriately implementing sufficient sanitary measures to
prevent the risk of contagion and monitor the interior of their work centers
according to the specific needs of each sector.
    4
    II. AIM
In the context of the return of economic and social activity in Mexico City,
must maintain sufficient security measures to prevent the risk of
contagion in the various work centers. Because each industry sector and
of commerce respond to different needs, measures of protection must be established
health security that meets the needs of each sector.
The main objective of this document is to design the most appropriate health measures.
effective and sufficient to prevent contagion and contain the spread of
definitively in each sector, taking as reference the provisions that
federal and local health authorities have issued in this regard, as well as with the support
of the country's health institutions. Likewise, establish measures and recommendations
additional measures to minimize the risk of contagion in their respective sectors,
fields of action and work centers, considering at least the measures
contemplated in the Plan and other applicable regulations.

IV. SCOPES AND FIELD OF APPLICATION
It is important to be clear that the health risk emergency has not ended, for
For these reasons, security measures to prevent the risk of contagion should not be
cease to be applied in the different environments of social interaction and even less in the
spaces in which we spend most of our time. Work centers, whether
industrial, commercial or administrative, are an example of those places where the
risk of contagion is high, because daily coexistence can generate relaxation
    of health measures.
For these reasons, these guidelines will be mandatory for staff to follow.
who works in small establishments selling groceries, food and items
essential, as well as the users and consumers who turn to them.
All commercial establishments will operate according to the traffic light
epidemiological, for this reason the owners of grocery sales establishments,
food and essential items, will have the responsibility of consulting the portal of
publication of Guidelines (covid19.cdmx.gob.mx/medidassanitarias), to be able to see
the Guidelines that will be applicable to your establishment, since it will be necessary
Print them and post them in a visible place within your business.
