The Undersecretary of Health asked the population to seek early medical attention if they present symptoms.
Hugo López-Gatell, Undersecretary of Health, reported this Tuesday that there are six states in the Republic that present an increase in COVID-19 cases.
Is Yucatán, Quintana Roo, Baja California Sur, Campeche, Sinaloa and Veracruz, he noted in the morning conference.
“In two of them, the increase is very substantial, (…) Yucatán and Quintana Roo. “We have called for certain activities to be reduced so that there can be a reduction in infections,” he indicated.
López-Gatell pointed out that work will be done in the six states so that there is an immediate response in the regions.
He also asked the Mexican population to request early medical attention in case of symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, headache and chronic fatigue.
