Health recognizes 235 thousand deaths from COVID; They vaccinate 40% of the population

In Mexico, 50 vaccines against the virus have been applied, of which 817 were administered this July 979.

The Ministry of Health registered 89 more deaths from COVID-19, for a total of 235 deaths recognized by the disease.

It also added 3,074 recent cases, so at least 2 million 593 thousand 574 people have fallen ill from the virus since the beginning of the epidemic.

However, it estimates that 56 (175%) are active cases due to symptoms in the last 2 days.

According to daily dependency report, the trend of estimated cases increased by 19% between weeks 25 and 26 of the year.

40% of the population vaccinated against COVID

In Mexico, 50 vaccines against the virus have been applied, of which 817 were administered this July 979.

This corresponds to 35 million 378 thousand 414 people who have received at least one dose against COVID, 40% of the adult population in Mexico.

Until now, 59% of the vaccinated population already has the complete vaccination schedule.
