Health registers 7,989 more cases of COVID; trend increases 24%

In Mexico, 47 million 739 thousand 783 vaccines against COVID have been applied; 421 thousand were applied this July 5.

The Ministry of Health added 7,989 recent cases of COVID-19, so there are at least 2 million 549 thousand 862 people who have fallen ill from the virus, since the beginning of the epidemic.

However, they estimate that 43 (573%) are active cases, due to presenting symptoms in the last 1.6 days.

According to daily report, The trend in suspected COVID cases increased 24%, between weeks 24 and 25 of the year.

They also confirmed 269 more deaths, bringing the total to 233 deaths recognized by the disease.

421 thousand more vaccines against COVID are applied

In Mexico, 47 million 739 thousand 783 vaccines against COVID have been applied; 421 thousand were applied this July 5.

This corresponds to 33 million 2,466 immunized people, 37% of the adult population in Mexico.

Of this population, 60% already have the complete vaccination schedule.
