Ministry of Health reports 1,805 new cases of Covid-19 and 67 additional deaths
The daily technical report of the federal agency details that the active epidemic is made up of 39,889 active cases of people who presented signs and symptoms of Covid-19 in the last 14 days.
The Ministry of Health reported this Monday 1,805 new cases of Covid-19, so the accumulated number of infections in Mexico increased to 2 million 541,873.
Meanwhile, the number of deaths from this disease amounts to 233,689, after 67 were reported. new deaths compared to those reported yesterday.

According to the percentage of positivity recorded in epidemiological week 25, the number of estimated cases of infections in the country amounts to 2 million 728,164.
Vaccination against Covid-19 in Mexico
The Ministry of Health reported that on Sunday, July 5, 118,734 vaccines were applied nationwide, which adds up to 47 million 316,228 doses supplied since the vaccination plan against Covid-19 began on December 24, 2020.
The report details that 32 million 661,900 people have been vaccinated in Mexico, of which 19 million 861,575 have received the complete schedule of one or two doses depending on the type of biological applied, while 12 million 800,325 people have a half schedule.
The Mexican government has received 60 million 638,895 doses of the different vaccines negotiated with various laboratories, such as Pfizer BioNTech, AstraZeneca, SinoVac, Gamaleya Institute (Sputnik-V), Tired y Johnson & Johnson.
This Monday, the Mexican government announced that carried out the first pilot test to package Sputnik-V vaccines in the country through Birmex.
The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), which markets the vaccine abroad and signs manufacturing agreements, detailed that with this action Mexico becomes “the first country in North America to both register Sputnik-V and launch “local production of the Russian vaccine.”
It is worth remembering that this week the government of Mexico City will begin the vaccination for people 30 to 39 years of age in five municipalities, with the objective of supplying more than one million doses from Tuesday, July 6 to Saturday, July 10.
