Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among women; A properly performed manual examination is an important way to detect cancer at an early, more treatable stage. The Life/form® Advanced Breast Examination Simulator offers unmatched realism for teaching both clinical examination and breast self-examination.

Unlike other simulators, tissue density actually varies within the simulated breast, just as it does in a live patient. Tumors of different sizes (1-4 cm diameter), shapes (round, oval, irregular/stellar), and densities can be inserted for an expanded combination of training scenarios. The tumors represent adenomas, cysts, malignant tumors, and enlarged lymph nodes. The torso is positioned correctly in the supine position and allows access to both armpits.

The trainer presents with palpable ribs, sternum and clavicles, and enlarged lymph nodes in the axillary and subclavicular areas. Orange peel (orange peel peel) with inflammation, inverted nipple, skin dimples and asymmetry are also depicted on the incredibly realistic skin.

The Life/form® Advanced Breast Examination Simulator has been designed for supine examination, but can also be used standing if desired. Training can also be done without the overlying skin.

Includes a rigid base, right and left breast inserts, overlying skin, three groups of tumors (27 lumps), nine soft lumps to represent soft breast tissue, one hard lump to represent chest wall infiltration, baby powder, hard case and instruction manual.
